Defender Registration in GA

Does anyone have any experience registering Defenders in GA? I have my eyes on a 1986 D90 which is currently in Las Vegas but not registered. The euro VIN doesn't show up in the databases. I was able to get an insurance quote from Progressive, but I'm worried about getting it registered at the DMV if I buy/have it shipped here.... Help please.

Check with user Shawn or Kelbo on here...they both have experience, and are good dudes.

After seeing some of the Defenders registered in that state I think you can register just about anything.

I have my 84' registered here. My VIN was not in the database which caused a bit of confusion at the DMV as well as at my insurance company. Once they realize it isn't in the computer (which you'll likely have to tell them 100 times) its fine. The sheriff gave mine a quick once-over the first time I registered it. As long as its legit 25 yr. there should be zero issues
