Really fair price if everything is as advertised. Checkerplate probably hides corrosion in the tub, and the chassis may be crap, it's not LHD, and i'd still take a look at it for that price...

not a bad price with the 300 tdi, agreed the frame is most likely scrap and diamond plate is usually a bad indication that there is little left behind it...

you'd have to inspect, its a decent price if the frame looks good.

I think its the same guy who was importing trucks in GA a few years ago. I went and looked at a 110 that he was selling. The truck was in pretty bad shape and I know the guy who bought it tried to drive it back to the north and only got out of Atlanta before the engine blew and had to have the truck towed to the Shop in Norcross and cost him a fair amount to repair it. These guys, if it is them, are english and the have a large Agriculture business and rebuild old landrovers on the side. I could be wrong but if it is south of the airport that is where they are located.

If a NAS truck looked like that on the inside it'd probably only fetch about $2k more than that.

300Tdi adds value, RHD detracts value....diamond plate likewise. If the chassis is solid then perhaps they could get $14K on a good day. If it was a 110 no problem. For this 90 I'd say probably $12K would be an easy sale, anything above that could happen for the right buyer at the right place.

Or at least high-teens ($18-19)...even crappy NAS don't stay on the market long at those prices. Though did that green $15K NAS ever sell?

I don't think Pete has sold it yet. Due to a PA specific issue I had to pass.

I wish i bid on this NAS one that came up at the end of October. It was a no reserve "as is" with clean title. Needed work but man did it go for a crazy low price

To answer the OP regarding 80s row 90s, it varies depending on condition.
The one I bought was in pretty decent shape and under the circumstances (really close by) it was worth it to me to spend just a little more. Plus it was a nice color blue which added $1K to its value. Lol!

I am pretty sure ROW will retain their value just not appreciating in value like the NAS ones. If you buy one and maintain it well, I am sure you would get your money back. I myself will probably never sell my ROW D90 so $$ will be sunk into her without prejudice
