Defender parts hard to come by (suggestions)

Hey,

I am bringing in a container from South Africa with room for Defender Parts and wanted to ask you guys your suggestions on those "hard to find" or "always needed" items. I'm open to Defender parts or 4x4 accessories.

Thank you for your help and advice!
Matthew

As my South African partner says - "Every Landy owner has three of the same truck. One for parts, one that's almost working and one that works sometimes." Cheers.

Hannibal awnings would be cool. I'm not sure of the demand or availability here, but they are pretty neat.

This is excellent, thank you all. I'll continue to search weekly for these parts and post when/if I have them. I'm trying to work on the Hannibal Awnings! They don't like to answer their phones or emails so I may have my guy's just drive over to chat. Keep you posted! Cheers and have a great weekend.

Beware of Hannibal South Africa. I waited nearly 8 months beyond the delivery date for my Hannibal products. I was working with their head guy. I finally cancelled my order and they disputed it and tried to keep several thousand dollars even though they never delivered the product, fortunately I kept record of all the correspondence and my credit card company stepped in. Jacques willing is a nice guy, but I would not do business with him. You'd be better off ordering from a third party like Foleys

I'd kill for a Hannibal rack (rack only) as I have an SD rack that won't work with my RTT. Slide one (or a few) in on top of the load as they're light and pretty flat! ;-)

There is a reason every single Hannibal US distributor over the past 15 years has gone down in flames.....

Eezi-Awn stuff is really good, I never understood the attraction to the Hannibal name. Maybe it just sounds badass?

You'll make money on anything not rusty which you can get for a good price. It's just that vending parts sucks unless you're in business.

That's the whole point, they don't need that LHD stuff over there. So why not send it over here.

An Eezi-Awn awning is totally different than a Hannibal awning. The Hannibal awning doesn't have any legs.
