I have been meaning to do this all week, many have pm'd me regarding the auction for number 001. Newman opened the bid at $500 and Shayne quickly upped it to $1000 and that is where it has been for the past week. Because it hasn't had any exposure I'm going to expend it til June 19th 1pm. If you have a bid just post it here, or pm me to keep it anonymous.

You noticed it has been quiet around here lately. Dare I say it, it hasn't been as fun and energetic.
Almost like range rovers.net.

Is he on any other forums?

------ Follow up post added June 14th, 2015 11:39 PM ------

Speaking of missing persons, has anyone heard from Pendy lately?
Did he float or blow away with those storms last week?
He hasn't finished my Rover yet.

This thread is about Will and his auction, I was just merely making a statement about Shayne. Please let's get this back on track...

Absolutely and yeah me too. I've just always been the type to give credit where it was due. There are so many guys on this forum like Shayne who give and give... Jonsey, Russell, Goose, Rick...and many more who give of their time and expertise...the list goes on and on. Since I've been here I've donated about a grand to other members. Pennies by comparison but every little bit helps and I am happy to give if I can and when I can. I sooo wish I could beat out Shayne on this but like Charles said, not many can afford to do so...myself included, so I made as large of a donation as I could... http://www.gofundme.com/w7dnh3b

(if only pooling funds wouldn't be cheating )jk

Looks like Shayne is going to be the top bidder for 001 if no one steps up today.

I don't think so, just supporting the community even when the community doesn't support him...

Brian you have got to stop whining about Shayne. No one would agree with you that the community doesn't support him. He did shit against forum rules so the forum suspended him. He is to blame for his inability to post for whatever time frame they gave him. I don't know what it is and I don't care. This nonsense about how the forum sucks without him is bullshit. The board existing before him and before me and will exist even without us. Not one person here wouldn't help him out if he needed it including me. I didn't care if he was kicked off and I don't really care if he comes back. Well I actually want him to come back so I can tool on him for wanting a 10,000 pound go pro mount built on his truck but that is another story.

So stop crying about him and throwing comments up how you don't get how we left him out in the cold.

And Shayne since you are probably reading this from the Boca library, it was very nice of you to buy some more flare for your truck in support of a good cause. You should add some tubes to your cage that spell out defender of defenders.

Blow me Barry... I just think it's funny that no one ponied up... Either way it doesn't matter bC he proved you guys wrong once again. Loyalty is rare now days!!! You call it whining, I call it loyalty! When was the last time you stood up for something that was against the popular vote? Yeah, I'll put my jabs in for Shayne when I can! To date we have raised close to 9k for Will to show thank you, not bc I had to but bc I chose to help a fellow member and a friend that sacrificed so much of his family and friends to help out our community. If we can raise enough money to send them on a nice vacation I would be happy!

Stay classy. How did he prove anyone wrong? You are arguing with yourself and clearly don't even get why he was banned. This has nothing to do with his character or anything else. It was basic rules he didn't follow and nothing more so keep spouting your nonsense about how he was left out in the cold and unfairly treated. No one cares. And if anyone is blowing anyone it sounds like you are blowing Shayne. Good thing he has that fancy go pro mount to catch it on camera.

He might have been outbid. I could have sworn I saw a $1500 donation in the jar.
