Defender Fender Flare Treatment

My front 2 fender flares are smooth and have some shine, but the back 2 are somewhat textured. Is there a product that will restore the original finish?

Judging by your registry, you have two different types of flares - the front are matte (driver side may be gloss) and the rears are the sandpaper type...so you may be SOL. I'm assuming you like the fronts and not the rears, right?

They are all in good shape and side to side uniform. I am just looking for a product to make the rears look more like the front without replacing parts. I am not aware of any previous vehicle history that would have needed new flares to be installed.

Tough to be perfect but if you wanted to try and get them closer, start by removing the spats and spray with either Matt or gloss clear coat

Factory was the matte version, which is rough to the touch. The gloss versions are factory, but did not come on the NAS trucks. Pick what you prefer and refinish them that way.

I had some redone at a local bumper refab place. They look amazing. They sprayed them with a texture paint of sorts that would flex.
