Defender "badge numbers" ?

Don't the badge numbers start in 94 and continue thru 97?
or are they numbered for each year?

I ask because I see a 97 "salvage" on ebay.
the plate number is "264"

My 94 is numbered higher than that?

I guess they must start over for each year??

So there must be three "264"s one in 94, 95, 97??
Thanks

Here you go: http://www.fourfold.org/LR_FAQ/Defen...nder_VINs.html This link should answer that question and probably a lot more you might have for the NAS Defenders.

Fourfold list.

FWIW, the info they have on my 90 is incorrect. So I am not sure where they got their information.

Kinda cool- they mentioned mine... it's the only one of the first ten without LRNA stamped on the number plate.

The very first trucks in the 1993 NAS 110s, the 1994 D90s, and the 1995 D90 SWs supposedly (well, not supposedly as I have seen at least one of each) had as a number LRNA 1 or LRNA 6 for example so there are 2 number 3 NAS 110s. LRNA #3 and #3.

264 would be a 1993 NAS 110, a 1994 ST (which shared the number sequence with the 1995 ST), a 1995 SW (264/500), a 1997 SW (which shared the number sequence with the 1997 STs), and a 1997 LE SW (264/300) so there would be five 264s. If the number is a single digit, there would also be an LRNA number so their could be as many as 8 out there with the same single digit number.

Here you go Phillip, I spotted this 94 at the DMB concert in Atlanta yesterday. I spoke to the owner for a few minutes, he had never been to this site before.
