Off-road = 90
On and off-road = 110

Well, i was asking opinions based on peoples experiences. Not mechanically speaking.

As a 90 owner, buy the 110 (especially that one!)

90's are toys, awesome toys (especially the ST's) 110's are more practical for your stated needs and driveway space ;-)

I've had several of both. Currently drive a 110 SW (Td5), and it's almost as good off road as the 90. OK, is heavier and can't quite get into as many tight spaces as the 90, but if you're just greenlining as you say (like I do) then there's not much "tight" stuff anyway, it's generally quite easy going.

Just one thing I spied.... you say they're both 300Tdi? the 110 has the wrong RH wing then, as there should be an air intake for the 300... unless it's a 200Tdi?

Why especially that one? What do you see on her?

I saw it has a wrong wing as it has the side repeater of a later model.
I will ask the guy what happened to her. Maybe it had a crash or anything else.

Every man with a family wants a 110 or a 130 eventually.

But i am in doubt between a 90 and a 110. Both are in good shape with a 300 tdi engine. The 110 is a country station wagon with 9 seats and air/con. The 90 is a 6 seater and has a winch bumper and a superwinch in it. How does it sound? I am not after hard off roading, mostly greenlaning.
FYI the 90 is not a six seater. It might have six different places to sit but only four small individuals in a comatose state will fit back there without killing each other.

Also due to a new addition to the family if I could only have one it'd be the 110
I also own both and without a doubt would go with the 110 given both trucks are of equal condition - the ride in the 110 is far better for any freeway/ highway driving and you will never regret having plenty of room for gear, dog, kids, friends, home depot run...

90, its more fun to drive! I miss the 90! It was a ST so that may have played a part.

Prima facie. That's all. Simply a great base to start from. These things are rarely ever turn key.

You guys may correct me, but I feel like everyone's first truck is a 90 and everyone's second truck is a 110.

I've had two 90's and loved the military seating.

I started with a 110 3door then got the NAS 90. Not sure what the next move would be but I feel like it will end up with a 110 5door. No matter what decision you make, it will be awesome. Good luck.

Congratulations! Now please move to America & set up a indie LR specialty repair shop somewhere that doesn't already have one (Florida is full, apparently to the point of cannibalism).
