Deer Hunting!

Muzzle loader season opens in Arkansas tomorrow so we will be hunting Whitetail at Hardin Point Hunting Club. I'm starting this thread so everyone can post the deer they harvest this year. Please post any and all wild game that you harvest! Look forward to your posts!

If there are any muzzle loaders here - do you hunt with CVA?

The CEO is a buddy of mine, and always looking for good pics with his guns

My gal's antelope 2 weeks ago. She says girls shoot does and guys shoot bucks. At least her stuff eats well.

Re: CVA muzzleloaders -I built my CVA kit rifle over thirty years ago. I've shot deer, elk, antelope, black bear and assorted other stuff with it. Popular opinion would say they're far from top of the line but its still my go-to muzzleloader. I'll be hunting antelope with it next weekend.

Throw enough dice and you will roll good a every now and then. The problem is when you roll good in more states than you have vacation time for...

Very slow start to bow season around here. Was very hot on opening day nothing was moving.
We are still not seeing any real patterns as yet there is too much fresh grass still around.
Some grazing on the food plots peas seem to be the favorite, a friend watched a doe for a while Saturday but it was a 45 yards off and could not get a clear shot.
It is going to be an interesting season as we have no acorns in the woods.

Archery Elk season was slow for us so no pics. The first trip out it rained for four straight days. Second weekend was nice and the last weekend we had snow and cold. Had two spike bulls come into a water hole but can't shoot spikes.

Between the two of us we saw five Black Bears this year. I might have to get a Bear tag...
