Mr. Pumadefender.

I would assume that you don't make a living out of installing dick implants as we know that people with short dicks are also cheap fucks.

Most likely you are in the wine industry and have connections. I am interested in doing a wine tour in California with my wife. Pm me if you have the hook ups.

Tom if you go, you have to swing by my favorite vineyard, Puma Springs Vineyards; their specialty is the vintage 1972 wine bottled in 2010.

This topic has many opinions and to each his own. The biggest issue with situations like this is that I have been under the impression that the individual or company importing a vin swap truck will forever be on the hook for the felony. Simply selling it on does not put the crime behind you. Is there a statute of limitations on a felony such as this. I would tune in to 48 hour mystery if they were about these situations.

so you own 200 cars and you service all of them?

I'm really biting my tongue right now and I left my neck high waders back east, but the BS is about to that level...

I must say that most people with a 20 car collection much less a 200 car collection would give a crap about $80K and would not likely waste their time on forums or lawsuits. They have "people" for that. So that part of the story seems thin, and I call bullshit, but that's OK.

Yes, I happen to be more intelligent than you apparently because I was pretty clear on what your truck was yet you claimed you knew better. So who's smarter?

So you are so smart you know what my "position" in life is? Is that because you're the big CEO of Crowd Funnel, LLC? Unlike you, I don't need to brag about my status and the amount of money and possessions I have. I know LA is all about image but everywhere else, you're just a joke with no sense of reality. I think people like you are commonly referred to as Nouveau Riche (It's French, look it up).

I mean you are so pathetic that you think I'm here to "overcompensate" for shortcomings…By the way, I'm not surprised at your grade school attempt to cut me down. It's what I'd expect from someone with no real personality. I'm sure all your friends cost you lots of money, right?

You're in marketing too, my god, talk about an industry of people who are completely full of shit...

When it comes down to it, you just hate that me and a ton of other members called you out on your lies.

Oh, and Mike, your support of this fool shows just how much you haven't learned so far. If I was spot on with this dumbshit then I can't be too far off when I called you on all of your bullshit as well. You might want to keep quiet and stick to posting smileys. Just because some people kiss your ass here doesn't make you invincible.

hey this is great.......they bar you on LR4x4 for this

They guy wanted a 110, with all the toys, so he bought the ringer. He got sussed out, tried selling it, realised that he'd bought a ringer and tore the dealer a new ass hole. The dealers wrong, the guys wrong and if i had enough money to own 200 cars i wouldn't be on this forum....let alone the internet. Never seen Hugh Heffner on here

So what happended to the vehicle in question? Was it impounded or does it remain in the 200 car collection?

Sorry if that question has been answered, but I did not see it if it was.

Once again, what a great service you provide to the LR community.

BTW, not sure what double secret probation gov. office is supposed to swoop down in your doom and despair world, but the DOT/NHTSA has already been through the shop. No issues here.

Here's your smiley.

EPA

I fear that if EPA gets its panties in a bunch over these things (and, from what I can see, have not been particularly active other than shuttering RN's 300tdi swap stuff years back), even the legit rebuilds will be targeted for non-US motors or non-original to the truck motors. And for those who are curious about this, the "what's legal thread" lays a lot of it out (without too many firm conclusions because there are not any).

At least 15 years ago at Richmond VA airport while I was clearing a shipment of motorcyle parts a customs officer mentioned in passing there was no statue of limitations on a customs crime. I

@leastonce: time to zip it skippy

@megamatt: How many more lies? your badge number, your D90, your job

@ECR: how does it go " when you live in a house of glass, you should not throw stones " ?

@pumadefender: good for you, you bought a truck knowing what it was, then caught in the situation and slam the seller with a suit? maybe you should read about integrity

@Globallandrovers: you are incredible, as least your bullshit is consistent

@broadstone: you are so wrong, unless you are the one swapping the vin tag, you have committed no crime
