Remember this was 1998 and judging by what was normally spent on the truck I would think the dealer would be accommodating. But actually you are probably right. I made all this up to flame Hornburg. Truth be told I dont even have a defender.
Not hostile at all. The same way you keep insisting that your bondo 110 was repaired by Hornburg, i am stating that it was not.

BTW, regardless what everyone here agrees to, Hornburg do not and never have farmed out any body work! They have & will however recommend a body shop for body repairs. That is an indisputable fact!

Curious how you back peddle & try to make jokes rather than post the receipt backing up your statements!

how do you know so well is the question. i get the point that you know... but how? their policy means nothing if money is waved in their face for a repair.

Well I am at work so the receipt posting will have to wait until tonight. I never said I couldn't be wrong. I said the receipt says right rear damage and the cost from Hornburg. Why would I lie on this site.

Oh and making jokes is my thing!

You are adament to get me to type! lol

I use to know a top level employee at Hornburg who gave me a sweet deal on a brand new 95-D90 with 27 miles on it in 95.

My wife was involved is a low MPH accident several months later and the D side fender needed repair!
Thats when i first found out about their policy & the fact that they only provide mechanical services!

Look man, They do not & have never had body shop repair facilities. Regardless of how much cash you wave in their face, they are incapable of performing any kind of body repairs!

Living several blocks away from them for 10 or so years also did no harm!

You fail!
Address the question at hand instead of this pile of crap you just posted!
Your post has nothing to do with Horburg repairing a 110 with bondo!

BTW, this is a forum & not a room and god will only have mercy on ones sole when generally one dies!

Stay off the booze pal!

You are the only one ranting. I am still at my office doing important things to make this world great. When I am home, I will scan the receipt.

Barry's right. I used to bring my 90 to Hornburg for all the warranty work when I lived down the street 10 years ago. Golden Hammer did all the repainting of my door top cappings every time they corroded from the water that got stuck under the door top gaskets. I must have had them done 4-5 times...they didn't send me to Golden Hammer, they took my truck and had it sent out to Golden Hammer.

Departing90,
You were so confident the dealer didn't have anything to do with farming out bodywork. Now that you were proven wrong you don't admit defeat instead you changing your argument about the actual repair. Perhaps the dealer thought you were a pain so when you brought your truck for body work they chose to say they couldn't help to get to of you.

Oh no, here it comes! You have angered the Departing 90. Prepare to suffer the wrath!

I'm going to go pop some popcorn, anyone want me to grab them something?
