Yeah, I saw that. Going to be interesting to see how that plays out in the long run, but considering how many other companies make compatible parts I don't think it will hurt consumers even if they totally fold. Not like as many major components are Dana anymore, few things use Dana axles or transfer cases anymore other than the Wrangler.

Sad. During the heady days of the mid to late ninties Dana could not keep up with the demand. Remember, though, domestic suppliers have been squeezed into bankruptcy for years now as the Big 3 forced concessions. The Firestone tire episode shows what happens when a product is made to fit a price. Add one more company and their investors, employees, etc. who are now laid to waste by this lousy situation.
