Dad's Last Ride

Hi all.

Just thought I'd post a couple of pix of my Dad's last ride.

He died Monday at the age of 58. Was in the RCT in the 60's and 70's and loved Land Rovers.

This past Sunday he came down to visit and got to drive my "new" 110, had a ball.

Yesterday we said our goodbyes as we drove off.

P.S. Bet you don't see this everyday, funeral home had never done this before.

That is by far the best "Hearse" I have ever seen! If you have to go, you might as well go in style, right? Very sorry to hear about your dad Gowyn, I offer my condolences to you and your family.

Well done, Gowyn.

I'd wager you have many fond memories of a life well lived.

My regards to you and your family.

Gowyn,
My condolences to you and yours. We all must go at some time, and to do so with a smile and a wink, well I'll hoist one tonight for your Dad.
There is a post on this site, in this forum, about a speech Steve Jobs gave. Give it a read... I think your Dad accomplished what Mr. Jobs hopes to.
