So, are you thinking of trading yours (or Jimmy's) in?

I thought of tading it in, but I think I would look silly driving one of those around with the top and doors off.

Mike that would be hilarious to have one of those without a top and doors. That would in some ways be your own little concept vehicle.....

We can start a new TV SHOW! Mike pimps your ride! I'll rip the doors and top off your car, then drive it into the mud!

color

What color is the Range Rover Stormer? It is not quite G4 orange. Does it have a name?

And before all you pimp my ride comics start crakin wise, I don't think it is "tangelo". But what do I know?

That color - and yes color was the key factor - got my wife thinking of a LR. She really liked it.
2nd question was would it run. Her history is my D90 and a friends Freelander. Mine is OK, the Freelander has had every issue written about - tranny froze twice, heating quit in winter & AC in summer. She did like the LR magazine write up that describer each model as a Starbucks coffee.

I am scared about the price. A LR3 here is like $46-55k when optioned. If the Sport is the half way towards the RR then what, $60k base plus $10-15k options??!!

That mud plow for a winch bumper really sets off the G4. While they're doing plastic imitation grill guards, why not a vacu-formed plastic imitation winch? It would give the stop-light safari look everyone craves while keeping the weight, ride, and gas mileage in line. And it won't crush pedestrians.

Its acutally more fun to watch the G4 challenge on those prop TV's at the furniture store than on a real one.
