D90 Source Coin

Yep, surprised this hasn't happened yet either. I have contacts in South Korea (where most coins are made beside the PI) and can make this happen for a reasonable price. If anyone has a design they are interested in using, let me know. I like the bottle opener like my current coin, or can go the normal route.

My brother game me one of his USAF Raven coins that he earned while in Iraq pre invasion. They're badass and most people don't even know about them. I'd be interested in a defender coin in a bottle opener

In other news... How do I get a marine crypto coin? Awesome. Last coin I got from a Marine was in Um Qasr and it was awesome and had lots of red, naturally

I vote no bottle opener. They are cool for unit coin but not so much for this. I'm thinking in the shape/general design of the Land Rover four wheel drive wagon emblem would be cool. Have a graphic design type change some of the words

Good idea, using the rear plaque design. Just need to figure out what the front and back would say.

I would be in for either and both. But am partial to round for a "coin". The plaque is almost overdone these days, although I do like them.

To make it a "coin" the plaque size would need to be about the size of the keychain being sold in another thread. So a keychain might make the most sense.

Drew

How about an opener in this shape?

How about a coin the size of the rear plaque. That way you will never loose it.

this could be another project for Gavin.

I'd like something though that's got more density/weight then the plaque keychains

I'd get one. If it is an actual round coin, it could have a gapper integrated on one edge; homage to the vehicle itself. That or perhaps shape the edge as either the tdi oil cap or hexagonal drain plug. As far as images, I've got nothing. But I do think that the years of the defender, in all its iterations should be displayed as the production run of the coin and that of the last of the long defender line will coincide.
