D90 Seat Covers

Hi all, looking for a set of slip on waterproof seat covers for the D90. I had a set of the LR genuine covers and they were crap. Anyone recommend wet okole or badger from experience? Any off the shelf types that might work? Thanks

I have the wet okole and am very pleased. They are made from wet suit material, fit like a glove and have extra padding making the seat much more comfortable than stock.
I'd recommend going with black/grey as the exposure to the sunlight will cause other colors to fade out.

Art, thanks. Did you order custom or universal? I've combed their site and see nothing for LR's specifically. Thanks

Ron, I've seen the badger's and am considering getting a set. They are very nice. A little pricey, but very nice.

Don't know much about the okeole, but I hear their good. I'd like to get a set for the subie sometime this winter.

Hey Art, why's your roofrack so tall?

How was your trip?

Just wondering how much the seat covers will cost.

Hey Ron, what's the reason you want different seat covers? I know this sounds stuiped but I'm just wondering.

Looking to a) cover factory "waterproof" vinyl seats for protection and b) find some cover that breathes a bit better. I'm thinking of adding some cotton canvas covers that will save wear and tear on the factory seats that are already waterproofed.

Has anyone heard of seat covers that have heaters in them? Or a way to add heat to your seats?

Mike, if you get heated seats, you can keep the top and doors off all winter.

badger seat covers

I've had my badger seat covers for almost three years now and really like them. The material is "water-repellant" not waterproof, in case anybody was wondering. They've worked well for me. When I bought mine, Chris gave me a 10% discount he was offering through the D90 Source, not sure if he is still doing that. Excellent, high quality product.

Mike, exmoortrim.co.uk has seat recovers with heaters in them. I think Atlantic British just started importing them.

Badger

I should be getting my badger covers this week. I will chime in on what I think of them.

i have badger covers, and they work great. very snug fit, good quality. they were worth the price and the wait (six months), imo.
