D110 in Boulder/Flatirons area

When I first moved out here I noticed an NAS 110 sitting at Land Rover Flatirons that was missing a grill and exterior rollcage. I took a closer look and it had just been painted and looked like just about everything was new (Radiator, Condensor, Susp, Engine, Exhaust, Frame etc.) It had D90 Alloys with BFG MTs on it also. Anyway, now I keep seeing what I can only assume is the same one on 36/Denver-Boulder Turnpike at around 8.30am. It is always heading south and I'm heading north, but it looks like its all back together, has a winch bumper and 6 spot lights on it. I was just wondering if that is someone on here's vehicle.

Sounds like Clarence Harrison. His 90 burned, so he rebuilt it into a 110. In just about all regards it's a new truck - 300 TDI, frame, suspension, etc. Mark

Hmm, could be. I was speaking with the GM at Flatirons and he told me the gentleman's name but I have forgotten it. Anyway, I thought maybe it had been in a RF collision b/c the inner fender well looked brand new and the left looked like it had some miles. I thought it was a true NAS 110, it had the proper cage and I could have sworn it had the proper number plaque as well. Either way, I'd love to pick his brain a little about it. It looks great and has the look I am going for with mine.

Its another truck. Not Clarence. Has a td5 in it now as well. I was almost involved in its transformation but from what I hear am glad not to have been a part of it. New frame and drivetrain on a 93'NAS D110.
