D110 at Barrett-Jackson

Saw this crusing the car list for the 07 Barrett-Jackson going on this week and was curious what kind of money it'll bring in that crowd, especially that its mostly a US-Musclecar auction.

Nope. He is not selling it, but he may buy it at the Auction.

I'll have to keep a closer eye on the auction this year to see what this one fetches. Thanks for sharing.

Just 'turn it around" or do something to it first?

If it was here at ECR and a few minor flaws fixed we could get 100K for it easy.
It is truly cherry, best or second best I've ever seen.

If Copley buying and reselling for a profit is a problem for ya, then get some $ together, invest in the truck and resell it for a profit. Isn't that what business is about? (flame suit engaged) If I had the funds I'd sure buy it to resell.
Like I said, its about the best one I've seen in many many years.

Not likely!

Its a good thing that auction is (i) in January and (ii) a long way from Iowa

Buddy with his '96 XD was just here though and he's getting tired of it ... hmmm....

Damn that does look nice. If you look closely I think you can see some dirt on the underside of the left front tire though.

brb, need to go buy a lottery ticket

On a serious note, what makes these so special? Aren't these readily available overseas in LHD and can't the safari cages be added? I guess what I am asking is can't the same vehicle be purchased in europe and shipped over here for a fraction of that price? I assume this vehicle can't be legaly titled for one road use here though (like an import older than '82 can't be either).

We get at least 1-2 calls a week at AB from guys looking for NAS 110's. I'm not sure what the appeal for them is but once we mention 50K+ for a decent used one they never want any more info. ;-)

Seriously...

limited production, safari image, good ones are tough to find now and instant grat. by buying a sub 15K mile car for your beach house. Same price as a Porsche SUV and every other house on the block has a cookie cutter SUV, so get an old D110 and you are cool.

Whats that line from Gone in 60 seconds..."Yes, I saw three of these outside Starbucks this morning... Now if I had a 1965 Ferrari GTB I wouldn't be a self indulgent wheenier... I'd be a connoisseur."

no problem with the flip, if he can make it work more power to him, I'm just trying to guestimate price, using his past pricing scheme as a guide.
I want to get a 110 once you can start importing the 83's
