D -covers on the cheap - suggestions

Well, I have run out of money and need a truck cover. I have identified 3 California car cover for my '94 ST Defender, a versions for the full rack set up, full cage no rack, and tub roll bars removed. That is 3 tops so about $700 total. About $200 a pop. I am saving up.
Till then, does anyone have a good recommendation for a cheap truck cover (rain proof) for the full cage, no rack option?

What's wrong with a giant tarp and bungee cords?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LAND-...Q5fAccessoriesI bought one of of ebay a few years back, it was like $50 bucks. It was a little large for my 94 HT but it worked out okay. If I can find the seller I will post it for you. Not sure if these are the people I got it from. Give me some time I and I will try to find out.

I bought an LR Defender cover from I think Rover City (I think that's what is was called. Owner was a guy named Mohammed.) and it was pretty cheap. He was always able to get stuff pretty cheap. It should be large enough to cover the truck with or without the rack. Why do you need so many, if I can ask? The Ebay one looks like it's worth a try plus the seller is in LA so you'd get it pretty fast.

I think I have one that fits a wagon without the rack including a bubble for the door mounted spare. Make me a reasonable offer and I'll see if I can locate it tonight and snap some pictures. If you don't like it, you can send it back and I'll give you a refund.

Thanks everyone. I do not needs 3 covers, its just I play with the set up so much 3 covers would work no matter what. I am saving up for 1 cover - about $200 from California car cover, which are really nice and custom fit. Interior soft lined, poly ply water proof with locking cable.

I am using the tarp and bungies option but the Mrs is VERY unhappy when it sits in the driveway, and it is not an option for work. Gone to many stores locally and find many covers in the $30-70 range that are water proof and nice but do not fit a D90.
Micael and Gary - I'll try both your options

The other option in to get the cubby box car cover and just let the interior get rained on or get the full tonneau cover.

Another option is to move to Maine where a blue tarp is considered very stylish.

I don't remember which one I bought, but it was pretty inexpensive, fit pretty well and came off ebay. How often do you plan to cover it? It sounds like you are planning to cover it even at work? I only cover mine when I am not using it for a considerable time ie. when I was in CO for several months at a time.
