X2 Good catch! And I mean you with a girl who can spot a Rover like that, those are hard to come by. The band sounds like Flight of the Condors.

Avengers Trailer

It looks like a Defender, but I could be wrong.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes!

Surprised that I hadn't seen it posted yet. Maybe this movie is really going to suck, but it does have "scary" Gary Oldman and in the first 10 minutes I saw these:

I am guessing the band, or the video, really sucks for your SOWF (significant other who is female) to pick that out. Unless she was watching the video on a movie screen!

Bennett, she is a KEEPER!!!

There is a good, but brief shot of a defender toward the end of TomorrowLand.
My 11-YO son went nuts yelling down the row that he spotted a defender.

Late to this thread. Has anyone mentioned Troll Hunter yet? It gets a lot of good screen time in that movie:

That's cute. My 12 yo son did kind of the same thing during Planet of the Apes. He said, 'MOM! Look they are driving trucks like ours!!...well at least if we were in that situation and ours got blown up, we know you could put it back together!' ...

I just read this entire thread, and there seems to be a recurring theme when Rovers are in movies.
1. They often get called Jeeps. 2. They often get made fun of by how much work they need. 3. They all end up in an accident or destroyed.

4. Post-apocalyptic films... All the roaches, defenders, and a few humans make it.
