Definitely green. And the part where it's rolled dow a hill looks like CGI.

I hope it's CGI. Otherwise what a waste.

Not really, someone will just use the title and VIN plate to build a 110.

Such a shame to see such a beautiful truck destroyed for a movie, especially a low-brow movie like F&F.

Yes. Plus they used seven of the increasingly dwindling number of '68-'70 Dodge Chargers left for the fake Daytonas...

The avengers movie. Dr banner/the hulk holding a little girl back from being run over by a 110. The spare was mounted on the rear qtr panel. Really cool.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but I watched the movie "JCVD" over the weekend... a semi-fictionalized version of real life events in the life of Jean-Claude Van Damme... anyways, without giving anything away, there were several Defenders in the film...

My kids were watching Shaun the Sheep and the farmer has a IIA PU like the one Ron has.

This is the "real life" one from Land Rover Experience.

Awesome. But is he announcing it by model as urged at the conclave or just yelling "land rover" like he tends to (despite knowing the model differences)?

Did anybody watch Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room? There was a photo of Jeff Skilling and his AA Yellow NAS truck. I'm wondering what became of this truck and if anyone here ended up with it after his assets were (presumably...) liquidated.

killing season

So I watched the Killing Season on the plane ride home last night. Good movie.

Some things about the D90 scenes...

1) They showed a glove box.....It did not look like the console. I don't remember there being any glove boxes on a 94. I think it was a shot out of a another vehicle.

2) De niro hits head or slams hands on center of steering wheel...Horn sounds as if its located in the center of the wheel.

3) Check engine light comes on......truck dies. Travolta talks about british cars and how they need to be maintained. He does something and its back working.

4) Accident looked real but it was dark and at the end of the sequence you really just see a door that is being opened and closed.

Ok movie...short at 120 minutes.
