Saw a show tonight about nazi UFO stuff that depicted government guys in trenchcoats back in 1965, using a defender, to pick up der glocken (nazi acorn spaceship from 1945) in Pennsylvania.

My head just exploded.

That Defender was obviously a super secret government prototype that wasn't released to the public until 20 yrs later..

Coil springs and turbochargers are alien technology.

Nice blue 110 in the surf movie Blue Crush 2. A guy lends it to a surf chick to drive t some surf spots in S. Africa. He tells her, "It's a Land Rover drive her hard and put her to bed wet!" My wife and i had a good laugh at that line.

Watched a movie on the Discovery channel education website today with my summer school class. It was about the top 10 places to see "Magnificent Beasts" A bunch of Defenders and Series all identified as Jeeps. Scared the kids every time I yelled out "Land Rover"!

I watched 'Blue Crush 2' the other night. It's amazing that a movie featuring hot chicks in bikinis driving defenders can suck so bad.

Just finished watching the 2010 Sky1 six part miniseries "Chris Ryan's Strike Back". Besides it being a great show, it's an orgy of 90s and 110s. First episode even has a great old RRC in it. Highly recommended!

Yeah, Chris Ryan... That's a Brit with not a lot of friends in the US and British Spec Ops community.

Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel. Andrew was in Sardinia and rode a pretty white 110 up to the mountains.

Not a film, but Richard Hammond drives a blue 110 in his "Guy Fawkes Gunpowder Plot" TV special:

Just saw an older episode of Top Gear last night and they did a whole segment on the Rover V8. At the beginning of the segment they showed a bunch of cars that have used the Rover V8 engine and one of them was a Yellow NAS 90 ST.

Also, saw a commercial for Hairy Bikers on the History Channel. This Friday's episode features what looked to be a military 110 4-door. Looked like a Wolf with the doors removed and had Texas plates.

If you look in the TV Show Charlie Angel's (Show sucks) episode 4 my Defender 110 is in the last half of the show. Its a Green and white TD5. They covered the seats in black bags and took off the doors which was funny but glad they did not hurt it and made a little cash which paid for about half of my seven years olds trip to disney. Shawn
