D-90 Source or D-110 Source?

Just curious, does anyone get bothered by all the D-110 talk on the "D-90 Source"?

I don't, but I thought maybe others may.

Jealous? Yes! But bothered? Nooooooo. Not bothered

(see, I put a smiley!)

Haha, envious...definitely! When I originally purchased my ST, I thought all other forms of Defenders were ugly...that opinion has since changed. Too many similarities between the 90s and the 110s to need a seperate 110 forum, besides the 110 forum member base would max out around 500...talk about exclusivity.

Honestly, I do dig 110s a lot... but that being said, I prefer the 90 to the 110.. Just the smaller size, soft top, etc.. is more desirable to me. If there were 6000 something 110s and 500 something 90s, everyone would want a 90 more

It seems a few of 90 owners are having kids and wanting to keep a Defender in the family. So the D-90 Source ends up talking a lot about 110s for that reason, among other reasons of course.

After having a kid, I wanted to keep my 90 SW but since it couldn't (properly) hold a child seat with two adults in the front, it had to go. The 110 does the job nicely now with the second-row seats.

i love it. Doesn't matter what size you are (cough cough) as long as you have a Defender!

I think Chance is pretty much right on, many of us got our 90's when we were a bit younger, and now the family is expanding - creating the perfect excuse for a 110. I was going to buy d-100.com and give to to Chris, but some dude already took it. This site really needs to be more like northamericandefenders.com since all the grey market and canada guys gravitate here too. I think its the only forum worth much time - not too big to have all kinds of stupid stuff going on. And its pretty self-policing too.

It's a step by step issue. Start with a 90, next is a 110, then a S3 and finally
a nice S2A 109...
I'm still on step 1, who knows for how long ...

I think having one of each is best

I registered landZrover.com recently. Would gladly donate to the cause of a less-specific to defender site. Oh wait, I already pointed the stupid thing here. lol.
