Custom Spare, Hi-lift, Jerry can mount

Looking for pictures and ideas for a single pivot Swing away carrier. Its next years project for the 110. Has anyone had one built for their ROW truck?

Weld a trailer axle spindle to the cross member. Swing all day with a family of orang-utans hanging on it. OK that's probably not the highly engineered and elegant solution you were hoping for, but it would work!

Actually that could be a great idea for a simple fix.

I have always wanted to build a swing away that is based off a set of corner protectors.

Picture a set of the SG style rear quarter protectors beefed up with a spindle on one side and a latch on the other side.

Think it would be a clean nice looking option

I have always like the integrated corner protectors in the RW.

Ron Peppard had a good home brew rear he built a few years ago. There's a good thread on here somewhere about it and others. Single pivot if I recall.

This was kind of what I was thinking too. Just thought checking what others have thought up could be interesting.
