I think I'll stay off this one. Not saying what my younger self would have done.

Is the window mesh supposed to keep what's outside out, or keep what's inside in?

pfff burning man is for hippies. Looks like y'all passed us on our way back from Wasteland Weekend.

You should feel you chests swell with pride when you drive with the Cruel-Bus! We were on the way back from a successful mission to California to tell them how much better Texas was than their puny state!

As for the accusations of Hep C, this is completely false! We decided against using any of the parts off the ambulance we found at the pick and pull. The Cruel-Bus gets tested regularly and so should you.
Now, tetanus is probably likely due to the glorious amounts of rust.

And the question about the window mesh? Well that's a little from column A and a little from column B.

heres a better shot of the grill, its much better at night. imgur com/a/2b5Xq and the dot yourself since these damned robots wont let me post images

If this wasn't created for the 24 hours of Lemons Rally series, then youi are missing the boat - this thing would be front and center - welcomed, adored, and saluted! Congratulations!

Its a g3500 vandura conversion van. it was a daycare bus when we bought it.

its a gm350 5.7l v8 with a thm400.

we took out all the bench seats and put 5 captains chairs on the inside so everyone got a seatbelt and comfortable chair.

it has storage racks in the back for 6 peoples worth of camping gear.

i couldnt tell you much more about the auto part of it, im not the car guy in the group.

we found the page when a friend was trying to show a coworker the bus and he googled it.

we made the bus specifically for an event called Wasteland Weekend, a mad max themed convention in south cali.

its not in lemons and probably doesnt have enough safety on it to race, but we do have some experience on a lemons team, a couple of our riders drive with the Dallas Makerspace racing team at the events in Houston and Denton(closed) races. We have raced with an NSA themed car, a Blue Shell from Mario themed car, and now a bright orange car i cant remember the theme of.

TWO kegs on top! bungie cords and ratchet straps. they were very secure for the trip. and they were empty until we got to the camp site. way too heavy to drive with up top.

they are kegs that were converted to water tanks for warm showers. they worked pretty well.

I wasn't suggesting the race series, they also run a multi day (4 - 5 day) rally series. You get points for finding stuff like a statue of Barney Fife, the place were McKinley was shot, buying waffles from 6 waffle houses, the eifel tower in Tennesee, etc. we ran the one this winter Penn - New York W. Va, Va, Tenn. Alabama - 3000 miles in 5 days, they also ran one through Death Valley in August last year, I think their next one in up the west coast Cali - Oregon.

Check out the video - don't worry Rover guys - nice 110 running down the dragons tail included!
