I've seen more pics of that Durango, the deer really screwed that thing up, what they didn't show was the inside pic, they guy was lucky not to take an antler in the throat, the deer's head came right thru the windshield.

Good video. Do you think he off roads with the kids in the back like that? I'm thinking of Yousef's bench set up.
That deer shot - I was interning in an ER in NJ 2 years ago when a lady was brought in. Hit a deer, same thing as the Durango - it came straight in the car through the front windscreen. Broke her nose, jaw, lost most front teeth. Her concern? She was on the way to pick up her kids from day care and the deer ended up in the back seat tearing out 1 child seat. In talking to the nurse, she wrote out on a pad "what if, what if" and just clutched it to her. My daughter was 2 at the time and it really freaked me out. In 5 years in NJ, I had one close call, my wife nicked 2 deer, close calls 5,6 times.
Now, here in California I have hit 1 pigeon (at 80mph it literally exploded) and nicked 1 coyote (it looked back at me then limped away).

I hit a deer this year, but it was with a .30-06

On the serious side, I think I've seen more deer on the highway this year than any previous.

I hit a HUGE dog a few years ago in a '69 MG Midget I had just restored..... In a car that size, it was like hitting a brick wall. Threw me sideways in the road. As you can imagine, I had to start over.

My wife is from Sweden. There the issue are moose. Great thing with them apparently is when you hit them, the legs are so long the animal literally folds over the hood of the car and slides right into the front seats, through the back seats and stops when ever. The amazing thing is the fencing along all roads in the back country to keep the moose out. Must work 'cause most people there rarely if ever see moose these days.
Down side to all this car bashinbg, the sever bruising that results. Makes the meat usless. What a waste.
