What a waste of a roll cage. Life rafts would be more useful.

Amusingly enough, this particular expedition was co-run by the owner of Protection and Performance UK, Dan Evans.

I guess you could say the roll cage was part of the advertising I think the roll cage has some definite benefits when equipping a rover to do this kind of a crossing. It provides a lot of hard lash points for the floats and ancillaries.
