Volunteer Fire Company - so not tax payer owned. (but paid for by community donations - subtle nuance - but mostly the same)

What are those curved blades in front of those vehicles?
Are they some kind of Porsche whale tail thing but on the front of your vehicles?
It's 79 degrees at my house and I used sun screen so I didn't burn while I was cleaning the old paint off of my snatch bar from Urban Land Cruisers.

Dave: I didn't really need to know that you had to clean your snatch......

Clean and it looks gooooooood.
I'm also going to spray it with bed liner to make it more durable.

Looks like the frame of the plow is more heavy duty than the frame of the truck

Galpin - we plow our station ramps and parking lots. ... We have to stay "response ready". ...And then we usually chase the ambulance with the plow. The main roads get clear (normally) but the "last mile" down the various side streets and courts get hairy with the big trucks.

... An ambulance with a patient in the back stuck in a cul de sac is not a pretty sight.
