Cool Jeep.

Just got my first "cool jeep" from someone as I was walking into Taco Bell.

It was a young teenager. I didn't want to take the time to explain.

The insurance lady tried to put it in the computer as a Toyota.

I got "that's a nice safari jeep" form a old Mexican with the biggest walrus mustache I have ever seen.

Not really sure what a safari jeep is?

It was probably on the tip of his tounge.... He was pretty jazzed on the jump seats though, told me I needed 38's and a diesel to make it even sweeter ... even though it's a 300tdi.

Same thing getting gas at the convenient store. The Indian store proprietor told me "nice jeep".
I told him it wasn't a jeep. It was a Land Rover. He said in India, they call everything 4x4, "jeeps".
Like the Harley rider saying goes,"if I have to explain, you wouldn't understand."

I would be pretty stoked getting that. Very cool.

On the flip side a month or so ago I said "nice 'binder" to a newer Scout II owner. He looked at me all confused. My dad would call them that when I was young and IH's were more common. Maybe people don't call them that anymore?

I will sometimes say nice YJ, TJ, JK, XJ to some Jeepers if it has some "stuff" on it. It's the XJ owners that usually get it.

Haha - he's joking. Never heard the It's Heavy but like it. Those things would be rusty a few years old up in New England. Iirc - they were worse than Jeeps and Broncos. I am surprised they were not know as It's Holey.
