Chipper comes to life

Finished the Brush Bandit chipper project over the weekend. Still a little rusty here and there, but only cosmetic damage at this point. Nothing a little POR-15 won't fix. Handles up to 9 inch logs.

Clearing out some acreage (or is that ache-er-age) that has a lot of deadfall, poison ivy, scraggy little trees and random vines. I tried smaller chippers, but they seemed too toy like. This one will eat an entire forest. The land there is a bit wet. The chips will help fill in low spots and make walking around a bit less swampy.
I also have a few trees at my home that can stand a serious haircut.

When I get tired of this contraption I can sell it for more or less what I have spent on it...maybe more. So I look at it as a zero-sum outlay. Keeping it for the time being.
