Cherokee with the doors off

Now I know it's a Jeep thing to take the doors off your Wrangler, but a Cherokee? Coming back from the Eastern Shore yesterday some kid in a black ( 4 door ) Cherokee with no doors. I thought it was pretty funny cz we were heading into a downpour at the Bay Bridge that brought traffic to a crawl. Dude musta gotten pretty soaked.

I used to take the doors off my 73 Blazer in High School. The 73 had the fully removable top. That is part of the reason I moved to Colorado. It rained too much in Illinois!!!

Why not? They can't look any worse without doors than a Defender.

I see them up here in the summer quite often with no doors? I AM SAD TO SAY I had a cherokee once. I lifted it and put 33s on it and in about 6 months of wheeling if you opened any of the doors while articulated you couldn't reclose them until you where on level ground again.

So maybe these guys are just being safe!

maybe when the grounds not level they have to climb out the window, I mean taking the doors off a cherokee is more like scrapping frosting OFF a TURD!

I've considered the same with my '99 Tahoe (4 door)

Would make an awesome RSOV at the ranch!

They are unibody, not body on frame constructed.

Not really a huge deal, still running live front and rear axles, to most that is more important than having a separate frame.
