I like the sliders, amongst other neat things. They have shackles/recovery points on each end that are angled out

I like those sliders too, do you know who built them, I like how they stick out from the body and can be used as a step as well? I think that they were modeled after the sliders on the Defender in Tomb Raider movie. Picture here: http://www.roverworld.com/images/Veh...ft/Tomb-01.jpg

Also and ECR build has similar sliders, see last picture here: http://eastcoastrover.com/221.html
Mike, did you guys build those?

Yes, those are first generation ECR sliders.
We went away from that design as it was flush with the body and that was a bad idea. They need to stick out.
We still offer the shackle points on the current generation sliders for those that want them though.

Not to thread hijack but...
No they are not a mail order part. The first step in doing our sliders is for us to modify your frame to be strong enough to take them, so we can't do that mail order. Its how we offer our lifetime warranty on all ROX products... we don't cheapen them up to be able to be just bolted on. Sorry.

Looks like he went top shelf with the choice of wood. Genuine Mahogany dash and in the rear.

Looks like he didn't know if he was building a truck or a boat. Looks like complete ass (the whole truck) IMHO.
