Cheapest D-90

I have a chance to get a 1994 D-90, that is well abused. Also the truck doesn't run and it looks like the door have been off for the last ten years. If I can get the truck for under $5000.00, is it worth it. I know that is a tough question, but if the engine, trans, top, and other thing arebad , it it still a deal. Tim

I think the title and VIN # are worth that much alone for a rebuild.

I hear this, but have never tried, just don't want to get "stuck with a lemon". I'll go by and look at the truck. Tim

Buy it for five, insure it, make the oil cooler lines erupt, You've won...A NEW CAR!

Editors note: the D-90 source does not share the views of its members. Any opinions or recomendations of insurance fraud...you get it.

If you are not going to buy it... one of us will... Hell, I will. Even if you used it as a parts car, or turn it into a dedicated trail truck. Never mind, just let me buy it. :-)

It doesn't happen to be blue and belong to a forum member who keeps killing transfer cases?

Can you define lemon.

A $5000 Defender might taste a little sour, depending on what you expect from it.
