Cheap heavy equipment transport

Been getting some high dollar quotes to move a unimog from Texas to Maine. It's tall so apparently needs a low boy flat bed. Anyone have experience with moving heavy machinery?

Road trip?
How much can you save in height with tiny tires?

Hmm. I'm not In a position to change anything out unfortunately. I could road trip it but not sure I have a rig I could tow it with safely.

Yes. They call it an SEE tractor. Bucket on the front and backhoe in the rear. The key is both are fully removable and one is left with a really cool unimog.

The other way around! Get temp tags and tow a small sedan behind it for your way back.

I like it! Always been a fan of Unimogs.

SEE! Saves you about 5 hours of digging a fighting position.

Let me know if turns into a road trip sounds like a good time.

Holy crap! After watching the video, I am now wondering why I don't have one yet!!!!
Interesting that this is a freightliner truck. I wonder how much they had to pay for each of those guys.

If you drive close to Herndon, I'd like to see that backhoe in action.... I've talking about digging a well for some time now... (VA clay is a tough cookie)

List was 220k new. I keep seeing freightliner but it has all the components of a unimog including the power plant. The backhoe and loader are Case. This was the only one I have seen come up for sale in my 4+ year search which is why even from Boston I'm willing to ship it. Bobcat capitalized on a much smaller version of this recently. Came out with a gator/UTV type frame but way way beefier and can do all sorts of hydraulic attachments. Of course the loader and hoe are handy but the bare truck alone would be an unstoppable trail rig too.

I mean, everyone needs a hoe.
