Cheap flight

So I'm planning a spur of the moment trip to Dubai to visit a friend that is going to be working over there starting in August. I'm planning on leaving last week in August. Anyone have flight recomendations as well as fun things to do in Dubai.

Try www.sidestep.com for flights, it searches all the carriers, and is often cheaper than orbitz or travelocity.

Your best bet is going to be if you fly from Amsterdam. They have great deals from Schiphol Airport to Dubai. I am in Europe every couple months and alway hear and see great deals. I can tell you that once you get there everything is VERY expensive. The have a new indoor snow skiing park there that has caught a lot of attention. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Cool. Do you know what airlines are typicaly offering the deals? Good to know that Dubai is expensive. All the more reason to find a cheapish flight.

Well I can say for sure that KLM/NWA always have reasonable flights. I will do a little research tonight and get back to you. What is a big airline( Delta, American, United etc.) in VA. Does it act as a hub for any major airline? I'll take a look myself too.

check these out - I have not used them yet but I have been saving them up in my bookmarks for when I go to Europe in a year or two.
