center link

I installed a SG 3link A few years ago. I have replaced the bushings a few time but the thread wear on the center link was getting bad. I could pulse the brakes at parking lot speeds and it felt like the link was going to fail. So I had some 1 3/4 -.25 wall DOM threaded on one end. I welded a sleave on other end for a poly bushing. No more play and lots of beef. JP

Thanks Tis. What size bolt is that? 9/16? Hows fatherhood? My son is 7 now and can drive the whole lower half of Holy Cross City. It starts way early. JP

I think it is 9/16ths, can't remember off the top of my head. Fatherhood x2 is going well except for the loss of my short term memory and lack of sleep. My son is 28 months and knows where the keys to the 97 are kept and can put them in the ignition. I'm in trouble as soon as he has the coordination to turn the key...he loves riding trails already.
