CBP case against Charleston Freight Service
First off - I am a MESSENGER, not affiliated in any way just passing along some information to anyone who may benefit from it.
So here it is...
Apparently the CBP folks in Charleston have been alerted to a potential/alleged scam by Charleston Freight Services. Who allegedly charged for steam cleaning of imported trucks and never actually performed the services, allegedly.
There apparently is a criminal case being filed by USDA/CBP that may or may not involve refunds to people who used the service and then potentially had to pay twice or more.
There is also apparently another CES service provider in Charleston now.
I have no dog in the fight - just passing on so someone may benefit by doing some more research, or contacting the port authority...suggest maybe contacting:
