cash for clunkers

i know guys have talking about the cash for clunker in other posts. we have a car crusher company 2 exits away and i have been watching the tow trucks go by my door steady for the last 2 weeks.

just saw a poor series 1 blue disco on the roll back going to the crusher.

there goes another tow truck right behind him with what looked like a pretty good looking jeep wrangler rust free.

wow.......sorry sight.

have yet to see anything really interesting yet.

The disco 1 and 2 have been rolling into scrapyards before C4C.

I asked the local mega dealer to get some parts...I asked the recycler if I could take some parts...both turned me down and said the trucks had to be crushed as is. They only drain fluids per EPA regs then run them through a processor. I watched a nice chevy Z71 truck get crushed and shredded into small bits.
