You are selling it? I cannot help you with the carfax (I am not too sure that the carfax will even be that useful) but man, post some pictures. That is a quickly appreciating asset.

I have to agree. Ive seen some rapidly appreciating classics before, but none that have increased in value as quickly as an E30 M3.... I don't know your dads situation, but I would definitely hold onto this car. My $.02

I love these M3's.

A friend of mine got one(red) in '88 as his HS grad present.
He wrecked it a year later and daddy took it back and put in the garage.
I heard it was still in that garage 20 years later. May still be.

There are times where the boss needs to be ignored. Seriously. As long as it is not one of those 'hold my beer and watch this' moments.

Honestly, your father should hold on to this. Maintain it and keep the mileage low. This is a retirement account on wheels.
