We are just in Berkley where a friend owns a cafe. I think I'll be in the area until Sunday when I drive out to deliver Briggs his winter hack ...

My collection on snow peak sporks altogether don't weigh 47g!!! ;-)

I'm thinking I should make the golden gate spork into a trophy for car camping crossings of the US from East to West.

Car Camping - NYC to SFO

Which cafe?? You should stop by Sunday if I'm on the way. I have a special beer for Rover owners that I like to pass along.

I think it's a bit more varied ... But all really healthy stuff .. They are just starting wines and beers so it's a bit more interesting. They have a back yard that's real nicely done. I'm sat there right now contemplating whether to IG a pic of my granola for Josh's wife ...

Mission over. 4200 miles in 2 weeks. Lots of camping and a smattering of hotels. Break downs were minimal ... broken shock fixed for $10 ... chicklet replaced with home made spare and the lead fell off the coil once. I tightened a slipping alternator belt and had a no start which magically disappeared as quickly as it arose.

Tires scrubbed on the inside front indicating slightly out of alignment.

Thanks to Chris Snell for the steak, bed and amazing camp site suggestions.

Thanks to Brandon for dinner and beers in Denver.

Thanks to Briggs who is baby sitting my truck until spring when I'll return for part 2!
