If you need anything while in Denver, We've got tools, garage and a spare bedroom or just a great campsite in the mountains about 45 minutes southwest of the city. Have fun!

IMHO, once you pass Denver, you're pretty much beginning the best terrain in the USA.

Not sure how long you'll have in Yellowstone, but if you have an extra day, I'd recommend passing by Lake Tahoe by going North on 50/89. You'll pass on the west side of the lake, then hit Truckee, then you can take 80 all the way to SFO.

Or see the lake, double back and head west on 50. Robb's Hut, an old fire lookout station, is a great place to camp, and 20-30 miles from south shore. Further north and also off Ice House Rd is Loon Lake with spectacular camping. Many points to access trails leading to Rubicon Trail off Ice House. You will be overdue to break that new weld on your rear shock.

An epic road trip!
If you'll be traveling through the Eastern Sierra, a few of us from NorCal Land Rover club will be trekking through the wild west ghost towns in Bodie, CA, Aurora, NV on the 17th.
If you are looking for a caravan on your last leg, we'll break camp morning of the 18th & drive home through Yosemite to SF.

Made it to CA!

Was snowing but now it's only raining. My plan to heat the solar shower by strapping it to the roof hasn't worked ... ;-)

Good to hear you've made it!

Good luck with Golden Gate Bridge pictures. The fog & clouds don't always cooperate.
