capital one auto finance clamping down hard! beware!

guys, it used be really easy to just go and apply on line for your new d90 or 110 and get a good interest rate without being penalized for buying a 93-97 land rover. you would have a check the next day.

i was eye balling another d90 and just needed a shorty loan for a couple months then pay it off.

i have excellent credit and have had a few loans with them before.

i did the application on line, i was approved in 60 seconds. but they say i can only buy the truck from a new franchise car dealership. what bullshit. i am small used car dealer and they change the program, just like that.

she said, well, in this economy the smaller dealership may close.

that has nothing to do with the buyer, the bank files a lien and they have the buyers signature on the contract.

boy that burns my ass.

so guys who have used capital one or are thinking about it, don't.

thanks for letting me vent a little.

happy holidays.

As a small dealership you need a credit line from your bank anyway. Much better rates, money when you need it and no BS from credit card companies. Screw those guys.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.
