Canadian d90 imported 12 years ago

Looking at a red defender that was originally purchased in Quebec Canada in 94 and imported to us in 2002. Please let me know your thoughts on value and issues with this. The vin number is SALDV2280RA941188.

Not sure if this effects the value

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

A handful of NAS spec trucks were made for the Canadian market. This appears to be CDN #71. It is eligible for US entry. It should have an FMVSS sticker in the driver side footwell.

Item location:
Beverly Hills, California, United States

VIN: SALDV2280RA941188
Plaque: CDN # 71
Mileage: 42,730

Item Description:

“The truck is registered in Virginia but is currently in Los Angeles. Just purchased it but after receiving left a deposit for a 1997. Can't keep both. It has a Badger Soft top and also hardtop. The hard top is still in Virginia but will ship. The millage is actual based on repairs and Carfax. The carfax is clean. The truck was imported to US from Canada many years ago but is a true NAS as it was ordered to be delivered to Canada for the owner. The Interior is all there and everything works. Perhaps need a new stereo as the current one is not working well. Little surface rust on rear bumper and small surface rust on cross member. Engine and Trans are great.”

The truck need a little TLC for interior. Contact me for more information (310) 261-0510
