What about next year on the 21 year rule? Or would Land Rover say this is not substantially similar to a US model in regards to safety?

Response: Currently the Disco does not have US Title (one can easily be obtained), it has Canadian Title/Registration.

Has anybody successfully registered an imported vehicle as the 2nd owner without a US title? The truck intrigues me but there is no way I would gamble on getting it registered and plated in my home state.

I have heard...any vehicle can be re-titled without a title...if it passes roadworthy inspection etc - just gotta know how

Some states will title anything if you pay the tax. Does not make it federally legal.

Isn't it on Canadian plates? That's how it is able to be here.

No USA VIN no buy until 25 year rule kicks in plain and simple. It's like other Rovers that eBay has had over the years. For $25K plus not worth it IMHO.
Love those Camel trucks!

What's the story of the white d1 with the numbers 88 on the bonnet?

Heard yesterday D1's are now called disco classics by LR
