Finally! J104SKV is now permitted to travel in every African nation along the eastern route from ZA to Morocco! Now logistically, for the next 12 months starting June 23rd, Cape Town to London could happen. Anyone interested in joining such an expedition?

Stopped by J Whites today in Framingham to pick up some 130 parts. Great shop! Great people! Shirley, Jeff and the whole gang are genuine Land Rover enthusiast! Fred Monsses' son Jon works at the shop and told me that his dad may have driven my truck in the Camel Trophy! Click image for larger version

My brother Ben and I were down there Thursday thru today. Had the trails to ourselves! I might come back for the day next weekend but, doubt I'll overnight unless it's much warmer or, they lift the ban on camp fires.
