Does 160th SOAR at Ft Campbell have shit-hooks?

Advice: just get to the best unit you can first time out. You build cred and you're more likely to have a good experience.

Hey guys i figured i would do a little update on this. I just graduated fort benning basic training on the 3rd. I graduated the top 10% of My company and got ranked to private e-2. I am pretty happy with it. Basic wasnt as hard as i thought it would be. Hardest part was dealing with the morons who just dont have a clue. But other than that it was pretty easy. For me at aleast. Right now im in Eustis waiting to be classed which should be monday. I cant wait!

Congratulations!

Those clueless morons, unfortunately, will not disappear after Basic. You will have them at every unit from here on out. Stick with the smart crowd, keep your head down, and stay away from the losers. Keep working hard and strive to maintain that top-10% standard and you will go far.

Congrats. Morons are the most common denominator in the military. We call them chuckleheads. Good luck, and thanks.

One of the most valuable things you will learn in the service is tolarating and dealing with morons and pinheads. Management is really dealing with that 10%, the others are easy.

Awesome & Congratulations NSDQ & all that ... A little advice, 1) the 160th is a Regiment, not a Division 2) Invoke the First rule of Fight Club about your assignment. Learn to be proud and closed lip at the same time ... no bragging or talking about what you are doing unless you get to drive an RSOV then we want pictures! ... and After jump school get rid of your facebook page except for the photos of you with puppies and your mom. ha ha I'm joking... no, I'm dead serious.

Congrats. New rules on tattooes. When you get to Bragg, before you run off to Fayette-nam with your buddies and caught up in the tattoo peer pressure that is sure to come, A) be sober and visualize what it will look like when you are 70 and B) make sure you understand the new tattoo rules that were just implemented.
