Sorry, that amount was a mistake. Depending on which listing of account transactions you look at on your PayPal account, it may or may not list personal bank transfers (my contribution of $300). I added my own donation to the total amount by mistake when it was already accounted for, giving me a $4880 sum on the 17th. My bad.

I get pissed off every time I log onto PayPal and try to navigate the site to check payments received. Its not the most user-friendly setup IMO.

The total in the account today is, in fact, $4743.01. Sorry for the confusion.

Bravo Dave!

I'm hoping we'll hear some good news from Greg as well.

Kent will have to give the update on donations - the spreadsheet needs some updating.

I went over yesterday morning for a bit and helped Greg get the motor mounted up to the trans. The motor bolts up a whole lot easier to the bellhousing when there isn't an extra stud sticking out hitting a spot where the is no hole in the bellhousing..

I was just screaming at the Paypal app on my phone yesterday because it doesn't show the Gross payment, just the net and not even their fees. Assholes.

This is why I almost exclusively have customers email me a scan of a check and I deposit electronicaly.

Well, these are just a few more reasons to get this completed as soon as possible, amirite?

Aside from the annoyance that is the PayPal website, I just don't like holding these funds for so long....

Evian had come by to help remove the TC, and gearbox last week. Thank you again for the help. My son provided the muscle with the TC, and gearbox install Friday. Jake, thanks again for stopping by Sunday, always a great help. We did have a laugh after the damn stud was removed, and the motor could then be connected. I got a sign for that onei think. That's where we stand at the moment. I have sent a progress report, and am waiting to hear back from Kent, and Charles, on how to proceed.
Cheers,
Greg

I'm sorry to say that despite the progress made so far, Greg doesn't think he can get his completed with the level of help he has been able to get. So it looks like we need to figure out a way to get it shipped to the east coast. We'd like to do his relatively soon if we can.

So other than getting bids from uship and contacting shippers other members have had success with, does anyone have any suggestions that can keep the costs down?

Well, if there is some sort of road trip, I have a 110 roof rack that's in Denver that needs to make it to the east coast. I'd be willing to kick in $100 or whatever to help offset gas $$.

The truck is supposed to arrive tomorrow between 10 and noon. If you are bored and in the area and feel like pushing a truck, let me know

I'd like to have a wrenching session Saturday AM. Starting relatively early since I need to shut it down at 1pm. Who's in?
