Bumper Shipping?

Anyone know a reasonable way to ship 2 bumpers from Tucson, Arizona to L.I., NY?
Everyone I called is like $1000 bucks.
2 warn bumpers that weigh like 300 pounds

Are these freight companies? If it's UPS or FedEx they'll give you the dryfist.

Tom,

I am guessing you can get them shipped for under $200 using Forward air, the catch is that someone will have to drop them off at the hub and you will have to pick it up.

Just have the person load them on a skid and strap them down then drop them off.

I've shipped ARB bumpers and other heavier bumpers via greyhound. sperate them out and just bring them to the depot, no box, no pallet etc. with the address securely taped to the bumper in one or two places. shouldn't be about $100 each. doubt you will be able to do it cheaper.

The weight must be the killer.
I just shipped an old chrome car bumper with the bumper brackets from CA to WA for $100 at the local fed ex store.
Just brought it in and plunked it on the counter.

Fedex oversize is 150lbs. Greyhound is 100 or 150lbs (depending on where you go).
