I've been thinking about that. We didn't have the money to make a trip out West this spring but I hope to keep a fall trip in the running. I would love to get back and see everyone again and get into some of those awesome looking mountains.

I just want to take a moment to thank you Chris. You obviously put a lot of work into the site and it shows. This is always my first stop after log on. Keep up the great work, and thanks again!!!!!

Agreed. I'm sure you don't know, but many of us log on each day, read the posts, and look for great new ideas. It's a part of my daily routine, several times a day...I'm sure others would echo that, Chris. Thanks for all the hard work and great ideas!

Oh, I have a pretty good idea. At the bottom of the main forum page it tells me who is online and in which sections. I have the site set as my home page on all the computers in my cube and usally always hit the forum to make sure there are no issues. But most of the day it's usally up on one of them in my cube or at home at any given time. After all the problems with the old Discus software, I am more than a little sensitive to server issues.

Did someone say Fall trip? I'd be up for going out west. Never been to Moab.

Never met Art Vigil either....

This site truly makes ownership more enjoyable. Even with having a dealer in town, a Defender would require a lot of trial and error or unnecessary (and expensive) work. Long before registering, I've used the technical help and FAQ sections. Imagine the added hassles of owning something like this(actually more rare than a Ferrari in the US) without the internet?

I am positive that I would have sold my first D90 back in '98 (and not replaced it with another Rover) had it not been for the camaraderie I found on the D90 list (the old version - not the watered down one left today), that same spirit is around today via this forum. It really can be difficult to own these things sometimes without others to bounce ideas off, or whine about problems to, and I do greatly appreciate all of Chris's dedication and hard work as well as everyone else's contributions.
Here's to all the members of this community

Thanks,

Dave, by all means, come on down.
Always a pleasure to meet other Rover nuts. I still feel bad that I missed Martin when he was here.

I'm trying Art. I do want to make it to Moab this fall and maybe do that CO trip in the summer. I'll let you know as the planning comes along.

Back to the thread topic, so it seems the user sign-ons have been climbing steadily. Anyone know why?

It comes and goes in wavs. Last month was slow and usally the moddle of the months are as well. The End/Begining of the months usally sees the most action or at least it seems to me.

Slowly making our way to the 1000 mark. We just hit 600.
Must have had a lot of guests because the bandwidth usage was crazy last month. Crushed our limit even before the last week and went over by 7GB.

It's a great website, I've learned more here in the last couple of months the I learned anywhere over the last 2 years.

Thanks Chris
