This British billionaire Jim Radcliffe just wants a publicity stunt.
I doubt Land Rover will bring Defender back, even if it did, it sure wont look like the old days.

The only company as far as i know will continue for ever reproducing anything close to a defender is the Iranian company named MORATTAB.

Check History and a few pictures.

If you haven't been keeping up on this story, Land Rover didn't like the idea. I think their exact words were, "No way." So now apparently Ratcliffe wants to go forward with it on his own.

A few years ago I visited the factory and they used to get CKD kits from Land Rover. Don't know how it goes now but it looks like they are still in production .
