A friend of mine did $13k in scores entertaining clients ... it was on expenses so i guess it doesn't count.

So many things... Ser3 109, Ser3 88, 84 D90, 83 110, 85 110, diesel Discovery, 2 sheep's wool insulated koozies $35 each, sheep's wool lined cooler bag, $100, alligator belt $700. the list is just too long really.

the wool lined Koozies were worth every penny BTW, if you like cold beer that is.

dude, the shit that shows up is random enough that you don't want any part of it. one week it'll be vitamins for my great dane, the next it'll be cases of stainless steel fittings for my distillery the next it'll be shoes or a watch...no rhyme or reason for anything.

i've got nothing on Neil and his mail order Russian brides, Porsche auto-clutch upgrades or bedazzled t-shirts though...

Actually I don't really think I waste money on things I don't need, since I pretty much need everything I have (or will be needing someday). All I can say is I buy everything with cash, I've never once had to apply for a loan since my college student loan. The last house I bought was a year ago 760k cash.

Once upon a time we decided to get rid of our "gas guzzler" 03 Disco and went to sell it to a car lot, ended up driving home in an Escalade

Wait: last month I accidentally bought a 2001 Lotus Esprit V8 on eBay at 2 am in the morning while SWMBO was away on a work trip. Put what I thought was a ridiculously lowball offer on it (20% off asking) and 11 minutes later I got an email saying "congratulations, you won!" I seriously thought the eBay system must have made an error of some sort. And it wasn't exactly the right time to make such an accidental purchase as we were about to close on a new house! Anyway, I got off lightly (which is to say, I am still breathing). But the Lotus needs a new timing belt ... !

Dido times X (lost count)! Wife says, "is that a new watch?" Which car has to go!" New rule at home. No purchasing items on line after 10 pm. Hard and fast rule has saved me a ton in the last year.

No wife so ....

My latest watch is not too expensive. Tudor Heritage Chrono grey dial. Bought it at 11pm.

x2 but on my Droid. Can't stand wearing a watch or a ring. Plenty of body decoration with the cuts and scars.

Most WTF spend was in Vegas for my brothers bach party. Still shake my head thinking about it. Not a crazy amount but just not a smart spend.

Most WTF money is probably our backyard. Re-did it in spring of '08 and just went way over budget. But we did it pretty well IMO with lots of stone and brick work, gas lanterns, and a fire pit. I wasn't working at the time and did the landscape part of the job. Lots of money and hours in it but I have a smile every time I walk back there. Plus, if we took that money and put it in the market at the time, we'd probably be out of it anyways...

I paid I think $3,300 cash up front to garage my truck this year. Cheap(er) since I paid it all upfront, but still WTF money as there are better places that can go.

Definitely cheap compared to everything else I've seen since my truck and all of the storage is under locak and key in the garage, but still...some people pay that annually to finance an entire car!

If I had to keep all of the shit in my apt that I currently store in my garage, my apt would look like an episode of hoarders I'm sure.
